Designed
for Windows 9x and NT ® MarineQaQc is an interactive marine electromagnetic Quality Control/Quality Assurance and data processing software package currently adapted to the EMGS acquisition system but which can be adapted to other marine and possibly land-based EM acquisition systems. To evaluate this package, please contact Interpex to set up a demonstration: internal e-mail or send to sales@interpex.com Features Include:
MarineQaQc receiver window screen showing 6-component E- and H-field data. Data import steps:
MarineQaQc Tow line position dialog box. Pointing and clicking on the towline display on the map selects a position for display as shown above. Both towed fish and stationary receivers are supported. Transmitter current and receiver E/H field data displays can be easily synchronized to show the same horizontal axis with a single click. Stationary receivers are dropped from the ocean surface and arrive on the ocean floor at an arbitrary and unknown orientation. The orientation can be found by selecting an appropriate section of receiver data and finding the true orientation of the receiver by interacting with the Lissajous figure display of the E- and/or H-field data. E will be parallel to the line from Rx to Tx while H will be perpendicular.
Use the mouse and the Lissajous figure of the selected receiver data range to find true receiver orientation. Receiver locations are imported
automatically with user override from the EMGS supplied receiver
location files. The location can also be edited manually during
processing.
Receiver location dialog allows for changes to the receiver location data. Files can be stored in a single directory or in a complex directory structure where each file type is in a separate folder. An interactive dialog allows for editing this structure, which can be saved for later use. A browse button allows the directory to be selected interactively.
Directory structure for files including navigation, data, position, calibration, current MQC document and SEG-Y files. Right-clicking on a marker while pointing at one of the data curves allows you to extract the transient at that location for viewing, further processing and export. Most windows have odometers on the status bar which show the cursor location and information about an object at which it is pointing.
The status bar shows the cursor position, the marker at which the cursor points (if any), the time value for the marker and the component at which the cursor points. The extracted transient can be viewed on linear or log scales, and can be further processed. The spectrum is also available for viewing.
